Hello everyone!
How are you? Good week? Any good read or movie? I read the book, ‘Eat Pray Love’ a while ago and yesterday got around to see the film. Long story short, it’s not a good adaptation. Except for Julia Roberts, nobody was interested in the film. Before I go any further, I must tell you that this post is not a review on the film ‘Eat Pray Love’. It’s just that when I watched the film, I thought about the characters in the book. Sometimes time, place and people are all in synchrony and you tend to get soaked in the emotions. Isn’t it? There is a link, I promise.
I bought the book in the airport in one my trips to India. It has happy memories. I thought, If at all I could learn a language so quickly. If I could suddenly let my guards off. I usually tend to live a bit cautiously. Technically speaking, I can handle my own twitter account, without sounding anything stupid or revealing something which I might regret later (as if the whole world waits for what SuranjitaRuni has to say;-)). Anyways, I’m not one of those who live on the edge. I loved Liz’s character in the book. It has a bit of you and I. Don’t you think so? No matter who you are and how you want to live (with caution or on the edge), I believe that every girl has that Lizzy streak. The idea of experiencing something exciting and in the process making a hell of a mistakes and owning each and every one of them with dignity. Sometimes, you want to know the answers (Remember the medicine man without his teeth? What accurate predictions!!). While sometimes you don’t want to know the answers, letting them unravel and surprise you as you go along.

I hope that electrifying streak in you takes you to many mystical journeys, wonderful experiences, fill you with love for yourself, drive you to embrace life and most importantly keep you going…
Much love
Suranjita
