Hello everyone!
How are you? Still going strong with those New Year resolutions? Just wanted to check ;-). I thought of making time to write more, but it’s already mid January and I am yet to get started. January blues and hues!
Feeling the pressure.
Anyways, hope you are doing well! I am good, trying to settle in with the little one’s nursery. While I waited for her, I went for long walks around the area. It was cold yet sunny. There were a few joggers and dogs. I saw a few people doing power walks. There were a few walking and breathing out fume and calming down with every lap of their walks.
As I walked a bit further, I felt that there was an air of coffee and for the first time I spotted a cafe in the park (The same old park). May be I didn’t walk along that part or may be not that observant.
While I had all the time in the world, I looked around and found that everything around me was quiet.
Things tend to calm down after the school run, isn’t it?
So that was my week beginning 4th of January. Settling in for mum and daughter and son’s first week at school after the holidays. It takes a while to get going and so as the resolutions. By the time you settle down it’s already March!
A little bit of something is a good start I guess. Word by word, step by step, will get there. It’s not that I didn’t try to write. I always have something in my mind and sometimes there is a bit too much.
Reading is also in my to-do list. So far, a few pages from ‘To kill a Mocking Bird’.I wanted to read it for such a long time. How’s it going for you? Good start? I sincerely wish for that:-)
How do I take off? Writing, kids, family, work, relationships, friends, whatsapp, Facebook, email – there is so much to manage, isn’t it? Or is it just the January blues? I hope so! Will come up with something for sure. Thank you for your patience:-)
One of my friends, with a great sense of humour suggested ‘Stress management’. I said, ‘those things are not stressing me at all and why would I want to manage something which is unwanted?’
So will leave you with a thought to ponder…Stress management! Please don’t try to manage stress’, it’s not worth it. Why would you invest your time in Stress management? With all the beautiful features in your life, stress is the least thing that you need to take care of and manage. Isn’t it? If you want to manage something, then manage your ‘well being’.
Much love
Suranjita
