What would you like to ‘never grow out of’?
I wanted to keep the post simple and an idea smiled at me while I was reading a story to my daughter. Remember those ‘once upon a time’ and ‘they lived happily ever after’ stories? Weren’t they magical?! The words ‘once upon a time’ have a rhythm to it. Have you noticed it too? These little stories have such warmth that they wrap you up in their cosy arms and you fall asleep. I sincerely hope that nobody grows out of them. What else would you like to ‘never grow out of’?
Is it to have a go at the swings? I enjoy them even more now. To take a sneak ride while kids are busy doing other things.
Or to see the galaxies when the cream mixes in your coffee? The swirling action is so enjoyable. Isn’t it?
A little hop or a cartwheel? I love them. A little hop uplifts any mood! A cartwheel is a bit tricky now. But I did give it a go.
Food tasting? I still love doing it for other people.
Playing ballon tennis? I am sure you must have played it too?
Jumping on a heap of autumn leaves? Who wouldn’t? The sound of crackling leaves when you step on them is out of the world!
Being a goof ball in presence of your cousins? Scrapping off the nail paint with your own nails? Running up the stairs as fast as you can or sliding down the bannisters. To see beauty in the little things?
Do have a little think❤️ and let me know.
