Bring in Diwali joy with greens
What can I possibly tell you about Diwali that you already don’t know? The meaning, its origins in Sanskrit and the legend of Diwali has been written and talked about in so many forms and languages. Yet, I am never bored of listening to or watching the story of Diwali. I think the beauty lies in the fact that in spite of having so many connotations, the story is fascinating. It has the ability to bring the best of spirits in all of us.
It comes from the word Dipavali which means row or series of light and it falls on the darkest day of the Hindu Lunisoplar calendar. Hence the correlation of darkness and light goes back to time immemorial. There is an excitement about it and we all look forward to the festival. Don’t we? The celebration of life, goodness over evil, darkness over light, togetherness, and my inspirations and excitement around it hasn’t changed at all. So keeping in with the spirt of the festivities, I would like to present a picture story of the celebration of life. Mumway’s new project is Joy of greens???. What better way to decorate your homes than life itself – I am talking about plants.
I was contemplating the idea as I was not sure where will it fit in. How will Joy of greens go with mumways? But then I went back to the core idea of creating mumways i.e it’s all about showing a way. So here I am with Joy of Greens.
Hope you like it!
Happy Diwali to all of you! May you find happiness wherever you are and with whatever you’ve set your heart in. And:
This year make sure
You have a little time for yourself
In the midst of making sure of everyone and everything, don’t forget yourself!
Make way for new things
Look out for new possibilities and try them.
Hang in there
If you are stuck and things are taking longer to shape up, don’t give up. Hang in there!
Curl up a bit
Take your time and laze around whenever you feel like!
Laugh out loud
Live for those moments!
Enjoy yourself
Appreciate the beauty around and take time to enjoy!
Remember that you will get your time to stand out
Your time to shine is just round the corner – remember that!
If they believe in fairies, don’t try to change them
If someone confides in you with their dreams, don’t shatter them with your realism!
Go out with friends ❤️
Cherish your friendships. Vent out and live every moment.
